Summary: Out in the Wastelands, Gem and Gemma reassemble a Grinder, bring it back online with a camera attached, and tell it to return home to the Venjix Palace.

Summer is having breakfast. Dillon comes down and gets some apple juice. Dillon's hand becomes robotic, the Venjix virus starts taken over his entire body. Then Dillon wakes up, it was another nightmare.

Venjix prepares to head for the Rangers with Tenaya 15 and his newest Attack Bot, and explains that the Generation 12 Energy Bot is capable of warping their biofield. Venjix orders Kilobyte to stay, as Kilobyte is working on a device.

Dr. K wake up Gem and Gemma and learns about the Grinder they reassembled.

Venjix, Tenaya 15, Energy Bot, General Crunch and Grinders have infiltrated the city. The Rangers destroy the Grinders. The Rangers fire at Venjix, but the Energy Bot moves in front of him and warps their energy blasts and fires it back at them. The Rangers are de-morphed, so they retreat back to base.

Dillon isn't looking well, Dr. K wants to do another body scan of him, but Dillon refuses and leaves. Ziggy goes after him and convinces him to return. But on their way back, Dillon and Ziggy are attacked by the Energy Bot. The Energy Bot is defeated by the Road Blaster and Sky Shift Blazers, but then Venjix makes it grow. The Energy Bot is destroyed by a reconfigured energy blast from the ValveMax Megazord.

Kilobyte tells Venjix that the device is ready, but as Kilobyte tries to suggest having it tested, Venjix walks off to talk to Tenaya 15. Kilobyte now believes he has to prove himself.

Dr. K scans Dillon's body and learns that the Venjix virus has reached 51%, and that Venjix could take control at any time. Dr. K explains that she has been working on an antidote, but if she gives it to him now, it could destroy him, so she needs to run more tests.

Kilobyte is in the city. He activates a Hybrid - Corporal Hicks.

Scott tries convincing his dad again that they need to attack Venjix now, and not just stay and defend the city. Corporal Hicks enters and tries to blast the Colonel. Dr. K does a scan of Corporal Hicks and finds that he is 53% robotic, a Hybrid like Dillon. They discover that there are Hybrids everywhere in the city, and they all could be activated with a signal. Colonel Truman realizes he was wrong not to listen to his son and now plan to take the fight to Venjix. Gem and Gemma reveal that the Grinder they reassembled has found the Venjix Palace, and now they know where it is.

Venjix banishes Kilobyte for activating a Hybrid without his permission. Venjix prepares to attack. Kilobyte overhears Venjix order Tenaya 15 to destroy Kilobyte once they have control of the city.

Inside the city, Tenaya 15 places the magnetic waves countdown. Vasquez reports that the city's shields are at maximum power. Time is up, all power in Corinth goes down, and Hybrids everywhere are activated, including Dillon. Auxiliary power kicks on in the Command Tower. Colonel Truman starts to bring the shields back up, but Vasquez points a blaster at him. Vasquez is a Hybrids. Grinders and Venjix then walk in. Venjix tells the Colonel that he works for him now...
