Written by John Tellegen

Summary: Tenaya 7, Shifter and Crunch search through the remains of Alphabet Soup. Tenaya 7 discovers a location in the dome of where discarded Alphabet Soup technology was buried. Tenaya 7 returns to base to inform Venjix, but Venjix already knows as Shifter informed Kilobyte. Kilobyte is building a Series 2 Roto Bot.

The team is informed of a shield breach and a disturbance in the Sulfred Mountain Range. Colonel Truman explains that he has already sent out a team to take a look. Dr. K sends out her team.

Inside a part of the Mountains, Corporal Hicks's team finds a laptop from Alphabet Soup. The Rangers arrive at another part of the Mountains where they intercept the Attack Bot. They combine weapons, but the Roto Bot deflects their blasts, striking one of the walls of the cave, revealing something. Venjix makes the Roto Bot grow. The Rangers form SkyRev Megazord and summon the Road Attack Zord to finish the Attack Bot, but a strange train comes out of the Mountain and deflects the Road Attack Zord and attacks the SkyRev Megazord, then attacks the Attack Bot. The Roto Bot escapes.

Colonel Truman watches a video from the laptop's hard drive, showing Dr. K talking to Venjix. Gem and Gemma explain that the train is called the Paleozord. Dr. K explains that it was developed during the early stages of Project Ranger, but they could never get proper synchronicity with the bio field because it's based on extinct life forms. Colonel Truman and his forces rush in to arrest Dr. K, but knowing that Colonel Truman may do this, Dr. K has created a hologram of herself. So Colonel Truman and his forces leave to search for her. Dr. K orders her team to find the Paleozord before it destroys the city.

The Rangers destroy some Grinders and battle the Attack Bot. The Paleozord appears, and the Roto Bot gets away. Dr K orders Ranger Red to continue search for the Paleozord, and orders the others to practice with their Megazords. Dr. K creates holograms of herself to keep Colonel Truman's forces busy. As his men continue after holograms, Colonel Truman realizes where Dr. K is hiding. The Roto Bot attacks the Megazords. Colonel Truman finds Dr. K in the city's command station and orders her to step away from the computer. The Roto Bot takes out the Megazords. Colonel Truman wants to arrest her, thinking about his son Marcus, but Dr. K helps him to realize that her creating the Venjix Virus was just a mistake, they must move towards the future or they'll pay twice, and that they need her. Dr. K gains full control of the Paleozord. Ranger Red Pilots the Paleozord and forms the PaleoMax Megazord and destroys the Roto Bot.

At the Venjix Palace, Tenaya 7 warns Shifter to watch his back.

Colonel Truman grants Dr. K a full pardon.
