Episode 21: Not So Simple

Co-Producer ???
Written by Matt Negrete
Directed by Peter Salmon

Summary: Gem and Gemma are writing in their awesome dairies. Gemma is writing about each Ranger. Flynn reads from her dairy that she thinks he's just a simple mechanic. So Flynn tries to prove to her that he's not just a simple mechanic, showing her and Gem some of his inventions.

The Rangers form their three Megazords to intercept another Attack Bot. The Megazords are greatly weakened by the Attack Bot's negatively fused electrical discharges, and the ValveMax Megazord and Mach Megazord are taken down. Ranger Blue tries another invention of his, an Engine Cell to charge the Zord's combustion system, but it backfires and causes complete systems failure. Dr. K manages to get the Megazords back online. The Rangers destroy the Attack Bot with all three Megazords.

Venjix explains that the Bot planted delayed energy charges that will allow the next Attack Bot into the city. General Shifter explains that he has already designed the next Attack Bot, both designed by Shifter.

Flynn apologizes to everyone. Dr. K explains that they won't be able to form the Megazords until she can repair the channels. Gem and Gemma are writing in their dairies. Flynn throws his inventions in the garbage. Shifter reveals the Hammer Attack Bot. Gemma looks over a weapon Flynn was created that he threw away. Gemma offers for her and Flynn to give his weapon some upgrades. They name it, Road Attack Zord, and work on it all night until it's finally finished.

The Hammer Attack Bot is in the city. Dr. K explains that the Zords are still not repaired. While the others go to intercept, the Attack Bot, Flynn and Gemma tell Dr. K about the new Road Attack Zord they created and uploaded into her systems without her permission. They try to convince her to down-morph it to fight off the Attack Bot, but Dr. K refuses and tells them to get out there.

The Rangers arrive and battle the Attack Bot. Venjix discovers that Tenaya 7 has left without his authorization. On their way to help the others, Flynn and Gemma are attacked by Tenaya 7. Dr. K sends the Road Attack Zord to help the Rangers. The Road Attack Zord takes out the Attack Bot, but has too much power and goes out of control. The Rangers try to stop it. Flynn informs the others that he installed an emergency shut off. They shut down the Road Attack Zord. Gemma apologizes to Flynn and explains that her upgrade gave it too much power., but that gives him an idea.

The Hammer Attack Bot grows. Rangers Blue and Silver arrive just in time with their Zords and blast the Attack Bot. Dr. K explains that she was able to divert the Wheel's excess energy to repair the Zords, which was Flynn's idea. The Rangers form the SkyRev Megazord and prepare to deploy the Road Attack Zord. Ranger Blue gives Ranger Gold a new Engine Cell to insert into the Wheel. The Road Attack Zord grows and transforms. The new Zord easily takes down the Attack Bot, then transforms into Wheel Mode. The Rangers use the SkyRev Megazord to power up the Road Attack Zord and destroy the Attack Bot.

Flynn asks Gemma if she'd like to help him work on more Venjix destroying upgrades this weekend. Gemma says she'd love to, but she's helping Gem with lots of other stuff.
