Episode 9: Ranger Yellow Part 2

Co-Producer Jackie Marchand
Written by Jackie Marchand
Directed by Vanessa Alexander

Summary: The team defeats Grinders as they talk about Summer and her parents wanting her to get married. Flynn explains that her parents were planning to marry Summer off to Chaz since she was five years old - Chaz Winchester IV, heir to the entire Winchester fortune. Ranger Yellow shows up and tells them that there isn't going to be a wedding.

Flashback: Alone in the wasteland, trying to make her way to Corinth City, Andrews shows up with an Ice Cream Truck to transport her.

Tenaya 7 is given a new hand upgrade. Summer goes to see her parents about the newspapers reporting Summer's upcoming marriage, and she finds them having a rehearsal lunch with the Winchesters, and her "friend" as the Bridesmaid.

Back at base, Summer tells her parents that she's not marrying anyone. They tell her she has to, for them, because they are broke. They explain that at the time of the Venjix Attacks, most of their fortune was tied up in investments, and they came to Corinth with nothing.

Flashback: The Ice Cream Truck breaks down, and Andrews starts carrying Summer to Corinth City. They take a break, and Summer begins to realize that Andrews cares for her, even after all these years of treating him with no respect. Summer decides to walk the rest of the way. She asks him why he puts up with her, and why he doesn't just go ahead and leave her behind. Andrews explains that it's the same reason why he's stayed with them all these years, he's waiting for Summer to show him who she really is, not the stuck up rich Summer. Grinders attack, Andrews sacrifices himself to save Summer from the blasts. Summer defeats the Grinders. Andrews tells her to go on to Corinth City, and that he will be watching over her. Summer makes it into Corinth city and finds her parents.

Everyone is preparing for the wedding, and Tenaya 7 is posing as a caterer. The Bridesmaid tries to have a chat with Dr. K, Dr. K says that she grew up working 'round the clock in a Top-Secret Military Think Tank code-named "Alphabet Soup." Summer sees something suspicious on the monitor.

Flashback: Summer hears Scott's distress call. She takes a Medical Uniform and a motorcycle and goes out and brings Scott back to Corinth City.

Tenaya 7 takes the Black Landsdown Diamond from Summer's father. Grinders and the Camera Attack Bot then enter the Garage. Tenaya 7 finds that it's Dr. K in a wedding dress. Summer jumps in, and they fight the Grinders and the Attack Bot. The Camera Attack Bot gets the diamond and grows. The Rangers form their Megazords and quickly destroy the Attack Bot.

Summer's parents finally realize that their daughter is fine the way she is and are proud of the "New Summer." The Winchesters explain that they know they got no money, but Summer's parents call off the wedding anyways.
