Episode 8: Ranger Yellow Part 1

Co-Producer Jackie Marchand
Written by Jackie Marchand
Directed by Vanessa Alexander

Summary: Grinders, a Attack Bot and Tenaya 7 make it into the city.

At Control Tower, some kids get to ask the Rangers and Dr. K some questions.

Flashback: Before the Venjix attack, Summer Landsdown was a rich, spoiled, bratty snob who showed their butler no respect.

RANGER YELLOW

Flashback: Summer's "friends" show up for her surprise party that she throws for herself.

The Rangers take out the Attack Bot using Road Blaster and Turbo Plasma Launcher. Venjix makes the Attack Bot grow. The Rangers form High Octane Megazord with Ranger Black's Zord and destroy the Attack Bot.

Back at base they find two snobs, Martin and Claire Landsdown, billionaires, who think they are all hired help. Dillon and Scott go to throw the two out, but Summer rides in, and they explain that Summer is their daughter.

Flashback: Summer's parents don't show up to her party even though they promised her. Instead, they send her their very rare, highly valuable family heirloom -- The Black Landsdown Diamond. Venjix's forces attack, so Summer and her friends are forced to flee.

Tenaya 7 breaks into a vault to steal the Black Landsdown Diamond -- the only pure Class-IV Black Diamond left in existence. Venjix plans to use the diamond to provide the Camera Attack Bot with a firing lens that will activate its primary blasting weapon.

Summer's parents want Summer to stop "pretending" to be a Power Rangers, but Summer tries explaining to them that she "is" a Power Rangers.

The team finds in the Boom Bot wreckage a self-destruct switch, which was activated from inside the shield. Dr. K explains that the Boom Bot was a decoy, and there was a break-in at Corinth City Central Bank Vaults. As the team takes off, Summer's parents try to keep her from going.

Flashback: Summer and her friends find a military vehicle going by, but with only enough room for her friends to take to safety. Summer gets on the back of the vehicle as it's driving off, but one of her "friends" pushes her off and leaves her behind.

Tenaya 7 fights off the four Rangers, but then Summer shows up and takes her on. Ranger Yellow forces Tenaya 7 to retreat. Tenaya 7 then realizes that she doesn't have the Landsdown Diamond like she thought she did.

Back at base, Dillon has had enough of these two fools, but then Summer explains that she promised her parents that she'd get married. Martin Landsdown then reveals that he has the Black Landsdown Diamond.
