Summary: Venjix reveals a new era of Venjix Technology -- The NosBot Attack System Generation 9. Venjix explains that it is the newest evolution of Venjix Tech, and the New is designed to replace the old, which means the time has come for Tenaya 7 to be destroyed for failing to get the Series Green Morpher.

Dr. K explains to Dillon that in order to channel enough energy to power his Zord, he must first master his suit's five-second Invincibility-Shield Burst, and to achieve maximum power, he must have absolute faith that the shield will protect him, any doubt will disrupt the flow of energy from the biofield.

Grinders try to destroy Tenaya 7, but she proves herself worthy by destroying them.

Dillon decides he's had enough Shield-Sequence Training, but Dr. K shows him it's not over yet. The team learns of a perimeter breach through an air intake. Colonel Truman reports that his forces have taken fire at the Sector 9 Power Grid. Dr. K explains that if Venjix takes out that grid, it could disrupt the entire southern hemisphere of the city shield. The Rangers destroy Grinders. Tenaya 7 retreats, but leaves something underneath Scott's car. Tenaya 7 left the Rangers her hand.

Tenaya 7's hand is in the Rangers' home, controlling it from Venjix base. She explains that once she gets into the Ranger room, she can disrupt the shield. Grinders and the NosBot make it inside the city. The Rangers encounter the hand and destroy it.

The NosBot is hit by the Road Blaster. Venjix makes him grow, so the Rangers form High Octane Megazord. Venjix then sends in the Drone Squadrons. Ranger Black and Ranger Green summon their Zords and destroy the Drones, then attack the NosBot. The NosBot is destroyed by the Megazord's Super Saber finisher.

Dr. K finally reveals herself to her team, and they learn that she's not a man.
