Episode 1: The Road to Corinth

Co-Producer Jackie Marchand
Written by Eddie Guzelian
Directed by Mike Smith

Summary: Dr. K.: "Listen carefully, okay? We don't have a lot of time. It started three years ago. The World Internet Federation reported the appearance of an aggressive new computer worm -- The Venjix Virus. A year later, it was estimated that Venjix had already infected 37% of the world's computer systems. By then, it was too late. Venjix took control of the world's communications, power, and defense systems. It built armies of advanced robotic soldiers that laid waste to everything in their path. There was no stopping them, and Venjix declared victory." Venjix: "I am Venjix. Your world is now my world, and your time is now over." Dr. K.: "But it's not over, not yet. If you can hear my voice, please go now to the domed city of Corinth. It's the only place we can be safe. But you have to make it inside the city walls before the defense shield is activated. Please...Hurry."

More people rush into the dome as the machines continue to attack. Corporal Hicks reports to Colonel Mason Truman. Colonel Truman asks of Eagle Squad. Corporal Hicks informs him that they lost contact with Air Support over an hour ago. Flynn takes one of their transport vehicles (a school bus) to transport more people and himself through the battle to the dome. Flynn transports the people to Corinth Square. Colonel Truman orders everyone to fall back inside the city walls, then gives the command to seal all city gates and raise the shield, but his sons are still out there. As the gates are closing, two more people riding a motorcycle make it inside -- Summer and Scott(Eagle Two (Truman's son)). After closing the gates, Vasquez then activates the city shield, and the Bio-Dome Control-Climate Environment is loaded. Eagle Two reports to Col. Mason that Eagle One is down.

1 year later...

Somewhere outside the dome...

Driving through a barren wasteland, a stranger searches for Corinth City. While driving along, he finds one lone flower. He finds the Tox Screen clear in that area, so he takes off his gas mask. He takes a drink of his water, then gives the last of it to the flower. Grinders try to ambush him, but he easily destroys them then drives off. He stops somewhere to look at his map and compass. He opens a pocket watch and listen to the music. Another wanderer, Ziggy, tries to "borrow" his car but fails. Ziggy explains that he just came from Corinth City, and that he can take him there. Ziggy shows him his Corinth Citizen I. D. The two head for Corinth City. The stranger explains that he doesn't know his name or where he's from. They find Corinth City. Ziggy warns him that they should wait till dark before going to the city, but the stranger tells him that they are running on fumes -- If they kill the engine now, he may not be able to start it again. So almost out of gas, he heads for the city now. Ziggy tells him that no one has ever run the barricade into the city during daylight. The perimeter patrol, two Grinders riding motorcycles, start blasting at them. The stranger uses an explosive device to destroy the two Grinders. The Venjix Barricade appears. The stranger uses his Thermix Charges to destroy more Grinders.

In the Defense Headquarters of Corinth, Corporal Hicks reports to Colonel Truman that they are picking up an incoming bio-signal outside the dome. Vasquez explains that the scan is reading 1 and a half human bio-fields driving straight for the Venjix Barricade. Venjix prepares his Barricade for target practice. Ziggy accidentally activates one of the Thermix Charges and drops it in the backseat. The stranger tells Ziggy that he can call him Dillon. The Thermix Charge flies out of the car and destroys a section of the Barricade. So Venjix unleashes the Generation-5 Attack Bot. Dr. K. and Colonel Truman lower the shield and open the gate. Colonel Truman explains that there's going to be infiltration before they can power the shield back up. So Dr. K sends out her team. Dillon and Ziggy make it into the city, but so does the Attack Bot and some Grinders. Scott, Flynn and Summer arrive, and they morph into Power Rangers. Scott is now Eagle One. Dillon and Ziggy watch as the RPM Rangers destroy the Grinders. The Attack Bot moves up to attack Dillon and Ziggy, but Yellow saves them. The Rangers summon their weapons. Dillon asks, "What's a Power Ranger?"...
